Ing. Vincent Yiadom Boachie was appointed Director Technical Services at Ghana Grid Company Ltd. (GRIDCo) in April 2025. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as Director Procurement (2024–2025), Director Engineering (2022–2024), and Director Northern Network Services (2018–2022).

Prior to these senior management roles, Ing. Boachie held various managerial positions within GRIDCo, including Manager, Takoradi Area; Manager, Special Projects; and Manager, Business Planning and Administration. He began his engineering career as a Substation Engineer with the Volta River Authority (VRA), where he developed a strong foundation in power systems operations and infrastructure development.

Ing. Boachie holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

He is a Senior Professional Engineer of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE), who continues to contribute to the advancement of engineering excellence and professional standards in Ghana’s energy sector.
